SMART Advisory Council

The SMART Initiative formed an advisory council in April 2024, composed of experts and stakeholders from its service area. This includes experts in preventing and treating addiction, supporting recovery, law enforcement and governmental officials at state and local levels.

While some of the members of the advisory council also serve in the SMART Policy Network, the purpose of the council is to provide guidance on the overall direction of the SMART Initiative as a whole, ensuring the work is fulfilling the mission, vision and values.

The SMART Initiative meets with its advisory council.
